About Emergency Department

Department of Emergency Medicine services were established in 15-07-2015 headed by Dr. Vijayalaxmi P B. It was created with the vision of providing holistic and quality Emergency Medical care to all those who seek it. Department of Emergency Medicine provides emergency care round-the-clock to patients with a variety of emergencies. It is manned by faculty, senior residents and junior residents to provide efficient emergency care.

  2. Resuscitation area with 06 Beds , Separate female examination room.
  3. Ward with 30 (thirty) beds with ICU facilities
  4. Emergency Operation Theatre & recovery room (with 2 OT tables)
  5. Round the clock Laboratory services
  6. 24 hour Emergency Imaging facilitates-- X-ray , CT Scan & Ultrasonography
  7. Advanced excellent trauma services
  8. Independent unobstructive approach
  9. Electrocardiography, ECHO, SOB facilities
  10. Observation and treatment area
  11. Equipped with state of art equipment like
    1. Cardiac Pacemaker
    2. Suction apparatus
    3. Provision of different types of stretchers
    4. In-house training for basic and advanced life support
    5. Dedicated decontamination area
  12. BLS,ACLS, ATLS certified technicians and nurses
