SDM University Celebrates Doctors Day on 1st July

On this special day, we honor and celebrate you”.
As part of the Doctors Day Celebration, it is the costmary of SDM University to recognize and felicitate the Senior Doctors every year. This year, SDM University has honored 3 Eminent Senior Doctors:
1. Dr. (Lt. Col.) U S Dinesh, Former Registrar and Professor of Pathology,
2. Dr. Subhash K Deshpande, Professor of Anatomy
3. Dr. Shrirang V. Torgal, Professor of Anesthesiology
Vice Chancellor, Dr. Niranjan Kumar, Smt. Padmalatha Niranjan, Executive Director and other dignitaries felicitated the 3 Doctors on the occasion.
Dr. Niranjan Kumar in his felicitation address complimented and appreciated the innumerable contribution of the 3 Senior Doctors to SDM University
• Always all good work of the Doctors should be identified and appreciated
• Doctors are both treat the patients and also they are Teachers on the other hand
• The three doctors whom we have felicitated much deserved for their contribution in the beginning of the Medical College
• When Doctors healing others, they also heal themselves.
• Doctors must balance between their life between Profession and personal life.
Dr. Hephzibah Rani, Dr. Vijay Kulkarni and Dr. Adarsh Hegde were read the Citations (introduced) of Dr. U S Dinesh, Dr. Subhash Deshpande and Dr. Shrirang Torgal respectively.
In their reply, Dr. Dinesh, Dr. Subhash Deshpande and Dr. Shrirang Torgal shared their experiences, the prime time of their life they have spent and for the excellent support which they got from the Management of SDM University for the Department and their personal growth.
Dr. SK Joshi & Shri Jeevandhar Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellors, Shri VG Prabhu, Finance Officer, Dr. Chidendra M Shettar, Registrar, Shri Saketh Shetty, Director Administration and other University Officials, Heads of the Institutions, all Doctors were present during the function.
