Principal's Message
Dear Readers,
I extend my warm greetings to you all,
I welcome you to the portals of our SDM college of Physiotherapy, and hope the time you spend here is fruitful. It has been my privilege to serve this wonderful organization since 2004—first as a lecturer, and as principal since 2017.
In this era, where physical fitness is given a top priority , we at SDM College of Physiotherapy, Dharwad endeavor to impart high quality Physiotherapy education with a view to create a world - class Physiotherapist which stands committed to add to the existing goodwill of its name and bring glory to the Country. Our institute of research and knowledge is based on the rich experience of our faculty. We have highly qualified and committed core faculty supplemented by visiting faculty from various health sectors. As a Principal, under the blessings of Rev. President Dr.D Veerendra Heggade, and under the guidance of our beloved Medical Director Dr Niranjan Kumar, it is important for me to continue with the college’s efforts to expand and improve the quality of education for all students. Beyond that, we will continue to support and encourage the many life-enriching events, activities and programs at SDM college of Physiotherapy which provide you with a well-rounded educational experience. Students are encouraged to represent themselves in various activities such as academic, sports and cultural programs and participation in all major areas is emphasized upon to build in them managerial and leadership traits from the very beginning. I hope you’ll stay awhile and explore the new website. You’ll learn more about SDM college of Physiotherapy and the exciting mission to which we are committed to. I wish you the best career in your future life.
