SDM Cleft lip & palate centre celebrated Karnataka Cleft Week from 14^th to 19^th Dec 2015 to mark the completion of 15 years of Smile Train free cleft lip and palate program.  In India Smile Train is an International Charitable Organisation mainly helping the children with cleft lip and palate deformity, the organisation was born at America and entered India 15 years ago.  They are helping the children with cleft lip and palate to get free treatment.

To commemorate the 15 years of service in this medical treatment of cleft and palate SDM Craniofacial Surgery & Research Centre have organised “SDM Cleft week celebration” on 16^th of December 2015 at SDM Auditorium, Dharwad

Dr.Niranjan Kumar, Medical Director stated that SDM Cleft lip and palate centre with the help of Smile train has been able to treat more than 7500 cleft patient which is highest in Karnataka, also mentioned that cleft is a congenital deformity and is completely correctable deformity.

 

 

 

SDM Carniofacial Surgery & Research Centre, Dharwad is hosting 6^th Annual Karnataka State Chapter Aossication of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery  from 10^th March 2016 to 12^th March 2016.

The Inaugural ceremony was held on 10^th March 2016  at 5.30 pm and Sri Dr. D VeerandraHeggade in his message welcome all the delegates and wished the event  a grand  success one.

Dr.Niranjan Kumar, Director SDM Craniofacial unit and Smt. PadmalataNiranjanKumar .Dr. K Jinendra Prasad,  Dr. V Jeevandhar Kumar and KAOMSI executives were present during the inauguration.

The Theme of the event is “Educate, Enhance and Enrich”.

The Maxillofacial surgeons from all over Karnataka are participating in this program to improve their surgical skills so as to give better treatment to the patient in need.
