Overview
The institution is located in the midway of Hubli and Dharwad twin city and is a part of SDM Medical College & Hospital campus; spread over 80 acres of serene lush green land well connected by air, road & rail. The institute has all the facilities housed in independent building and meets the norms of INC. Fully fledged simulation laboratories; well furnished library is the hall mark of the institute. The unique feature of the library is that it functions from 9am to 12 midnight X 7. There is a good national & International collection of 2500 + books & 10 journals. There is separate digital library connected to high speed broad band internet and Wi-Fi adjacent to the library. The library is well connected to the central library of Medical College through intranet facilities for e-material. Hands on clinical experience to the students of our institute are provided in 1200 bedded state of art parent Medical college Hospital, Rural Health Training Centre & Urban Health Training Centres. Further institute is fully supported by its parent medical college in its entire academic endeavors.
