Guest Lectures / Seminars 

1. An awareness program on 'Sustainable Menstrual Hygiene' by Dr. Girija Patil, Dharwad arranged by PT CBR Unit was conducted on Wednesday, 25th July 2018 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at Physiotherapy College. All the staff, PGs & Interns were attended the same.
2. An awareness program on ‘Persons with Disability (PWD) - Act 2016’ by Mr. E. Thamarai Selvan, HOD Physiotherapy, CRC, Davangere was arranged by PT CBR Unit, SDMCPT in collaboration with Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Davangere was conducted on 28^th July 2018 from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm at Ishaavaasyam auditorium. More than 100 delegates were attended.
3. Dr.  Shweta Bhatbolan, Assistant Professor was arranged a talk for OBG staff & PGs on 'Problem of disposable and environmental hazards with sanitary napkins & Eco-friendly alternatives like cloth pads and Menstrual cups' by Dr. Sanjeev Kulkarni, Director of  Swayam Deep NGO Bal Balaga School and Tavargere Hospital, Dharwad at the Department of OBG, SDMCMSH on 24th April 2018.
4. Dr. Parmar Sanjay Tejraj, Professor was invited as a resource person for workshop on “Neuropaediatric Upper Extremity: An update on Evaluation and Rehabilitation of Fine Motor Function” held at Department of Physiotherapy, Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru on 28^th& 29^th October 2017.
5. Dr. Poornima P.S, Associate Professor was a part of the organizing team of ICEBAT India 2017,    4^th International Conference on Evidence Based Aquatic Therapy in Mysore from 10^th to 12^th November 2017, Pre-conference workshops on 8^th& 9^th November 2017, Post conference workshops on 13^th November 2017.
6. Dr. Sanjay Parmar, Professor has participated as a Resource Person in one day pre conference workshop on “Recent update in upper Extremity Digital Intervention & Tele Rehabilitation in Pediatric to Geriatric Neurosciences” held on 15^th December 2017 at Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Navi Mumbai.
7. Dr. Sanjay Parmar, Professor has participated as a member of Organizing Team at National Conference of Physical Therapy, held on 16^th& 17^th December 2017, at Auditorium, CIDCO Convention Center, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
8. Dr. Sanjay Parmar, Professor has participated as a Chairperson, Resource Person and Judge in Scientific Session at National Conference of Physical Therapy, held on 16^th& 17^th December 2017, at Auditorium, CIDCO Convention Center, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
9. One day seminar on Marketing in Physiotherapy 'MARKETING MANTRA' by Mr. Mukesh Nayak, Director, Physio Times Magazine, Ahmedabad was conducted on 21st January 2017 at Ishaavaasyam auditorium. All the staff and students have attended the same.
10. Guest Lecture on ‘Fitness’ was conducted for Final year BPT, Interns and MPT I & II year students on 14^th July 2016 in our college. Mrs. Sampoorna Jitendra delivered a guest lecture.
11. Mr. Johan Lambeck, Senior Lecturer, IATF (International Aquatic Therapy Faculty) and Chair person of APTI (Aquatic Physical Therapy International) a sub network of WCPT, Cochrane member, Switzerland  delivered Guest Lecture on 'Aquatic Physical Therapy' on Tuesday, 29th March 2016 at DRH auditorium.
